I have such a pet peeve about bad spelling and grammar. I mean... I'm not the grammar police, by any means. A simple mistake here and there? Totally understandable. It's certainly not like I always use proper English myself. But oh my lord, some of the errors people consistently make just make my skin crawl. And I'm not talking about people's personal blogs here... I'm talking about the writing people do AT WORK, FOR MONEY. I mean lord, hit spell check! Examples of errors that have come across my desk so far today:
- "Other vehicle was not suppost to pass our vehicle" ummm, I think you mean "supposed to"
- "once and a while" come on, that doesn't even make sense, think before you type!
- "must of been" NO. It's "must HAVE been", aughhh.
- "que" Ok, I get that for some of you, "queue" is a difficult word to spell. But how do you not look at "que" and immediate know you've got it wrong?? Ask for help!
- "supeana"
*Kim's head explodes*
